About Industrial Oven Design [En respuesta a ] Responder Citando El Mensaje | Responder

About Industrial Oven Design By Nacie Carson,
The design of an industrial sized oven depends significantly on the oven's purpose. Industrial ovens are made for a variety of uses, including drying, baking, curing and sanitizing. While their specific functionality and features cater to their purpose, there are common elements among all industrial ovens, including a heating source, heating chamber and temperature selector.
    Significance
  1. Industrial ovens are utilized in the fields of chemical development for catalyzing chemical reactions. For example, powder coating, a thermoset polymer essential in the creation of metal finish, needs to undergo specific heat treatment to properly bind with the item it is covering. Chemical reactions occur at unique and specific temperatures, so the design for industrial ovens used for chemical development include tight insulation and an evenly distributed heat source to maintain a specific temperature.
  2. Features
  3. Commercial nail salons use industrial grade ovens for the purpose of sanitizing metal nail tools such as scissors, metal files, cuticle clippers and scrapers. These industrial ovens are designed to be smaller so they can fit easily into the framework of the salon. They are also designed to reach high temperatures quickly, maintain them and then cool down fast so the tools can be removed and reused.
  4. Considerations
  5. Bakeries that handle mass quantities of product such as commercial brand bakeries like Keebler or Kraft have industrial ovens that are designed to function as part of an assembly line. These ovens maintain the desired baking temperature consistently in spite of the opening on either end where the assembly line moves the product in and out. Industrial baking ovens are also designed to maintain a consistent temperature across the entire oven to ensure a faithful reproduction of the mass produced product every time.
  6. Misconceptions
  7. Industrial non-ceramic kilns are also considered ovens, and are responsible for removing all the moisture from a product before the final treatment is applied. These kilns can be heated by gas or electricity, and are designed to "fire" the product uniformly on all sides to guarantee successful application of the painting or finish. They also need to be highly sensitive to user temperature regulation, as the heat needed to remove moisture varies between wood, clay and other mediums.
  8. Potential
  9. Industrial ovens are also utilized by the electronics industry for the purpose of binding circuit boards to surface mounts. These ovens are designed to heat the two parts as they travel through it on a conveyor belt with a combination of heated gas and infrared lights.
